Jay Cutler fans were up in arms after the athlete's Instagram posted a Mother's Day tribute to estranged wife Kristin Cavallari.

While it first appeared like a civil gesture towards his ex, Jay super-fans were keen to note that the retired NFL pro doesn't actually run the account - which has the handle @IfJayHadInstagram.

Kristin, 33, admitted she was behind it all via a 2018 Instagram comment, telling everyone: '...I think there needs to be a little clarification on Jay’s Instagram.
